Why Our Residents Love It Here

The leadership and staff at the Allegheny Place are amazing! Everyone is so kind, patient and understanding. They keep our family informed and really work with us to make sure that my mother and father's needs are met. They are responsive and caring and really go above and beyond everyday!

The facility is clean, beautifully decorated and has a warm feeling of home. The daily activities keep the residents engaged in social interactions and my mother looks forward to them each day!

I've had several family members and friends that not only have worked here, but also have brought their family members here, and I've always heard such great things. I decided to bring my aunt here, as she is one of my only living relatives that are older that I am close to, not only is she extremely happy here but I got a nice surprise by seeing somebody that I've crossed paths with quite a few times in taking care of a lot of other family members, the new ED [Executive Director], Michelle!

The building was very inviting and cozy. When I got there Jilene Miller met me at the front desk. I was introduced to the Director and the nurse. The residents were happily playing Bingo! Jil walked me through the building and showed me 2 types of rooms. There were 1 bedroom and Studio style. Both were nicely set up for the resident. I feel that whoever takes up residency there would be well cared for by Jilene and her staff. Lovely visit!

When looking for a place for my mom, it was important to find not only a location that was close to home but one that included active staff involvement and resident participation in all activities of daily living. Care Patrol introduced us to Allegheny Place and we were embraced quickly by the onsite Sales Director, Jilene Miller. Following a thorough tour, Jilene guided us through a thoughtful explanation of the level of care and attention provided to each and every resident on a daily basis. We had found the home for mom! The entire staff has proven to be kind, capable, and engaged. Mom is enjoying her new residence, the accommodations, daily interaction with her neighbors, the food and the activities. There is always something to do. A special shout out to Mary Kugel, the awesome Activities Director! Our family feels extremely fortunate to have found Allegheny Place.
